The cancellation and refund conditions displayed for the selected rate at the time of booking, and repeated in the confirmation, take priority. Different rooms or rate plans in the same reservation may have different rules.
2. Refundable rates
A refundable rate may be cancelled without the stated cancellation charge only before its displayed deadline. After that deadline, the fee shown for that rate applies. If no deadline or fee appears, the hotel must clarify it before payment is completed.
3. Non-refundable rates
For a clearly identified non-refundable rate, the full amount may become payable when the reservation is confirmed and is normally not refunded for cancellation, no-show or early departure, except where mandatory law requires otherwise or the hotel approves an exception in writing.
4. Changes, no-show and early departure
Date, name, room or occupancy changes are subject to availability, price differences and the selected rate conditions. A no-show occurs when the guest does not arrive by the hotel's stated cut-off without prior agreement. Unused nights after a no-show or early departure are handled under the selected rate rules.
5. Refund method and timing
An approved refund is returned to the original payment method unless law or the payment provider requires another method. The hotel will initiate it without undue delay after approval; the date it reaches the guest depends on the card issuer, bank or payment provider. Any non-refundable processing charge must have been disclosed before payment.
6. Exceptional events and hotel cancellation
If the hotel cannot honour a confirmed stay, it will provide the remedy required by applicable law and may offer comparable accommodation or a refund of the affected hotel charge. Requests caused by exceptional events are assessed individually, taking mandatory law and reliable evidence into account.
